L'ora di tutti
Description
A young defender of Otranto tries to hold the city’s walls and keep civilians alive as Ottoman forces press their assault. The film follows the immediate work of defense: organising local militias, maintaining lines of communication to the port, treating the wounded and repelling repeated attacks. It reconstructs the phases of the 1480 siege, showing how naval pressure, assaults on fortifications and urban fighting combine to produce a military outcome. The action takes place in Otranto, the Salento port whose control is the strategic prize at stake. The cast includes Alice Pagani, Ignazio Oliva, Simone Coppo and Eleonora De Luca. Released in 2026, the picture lays out the sequence of decisions and engagements that determine the city’s condition; it leaves its characters with disrupted supply routes, contested streets and the immediate choice between evacuation or continued resistance.
