Dead Man Walking

Description

The story unfolds across the Midwest as an agent of a nameless corporation drives from town to town to deliver legal documents to a mysterious purchaser. The assignment requires repeated stops, identity checks and handoffs that reopen old wounds; the papers themselves carry implications that extend beyond routine contract language. The protagonist faces physical danger and recurring memories tied to earlier choices, and the route is punctuated by exchanges that raise the possibility the documents affect more than ownership. Released in 2026, the cast includes Thomas Kushner, Emelia Sherin, Bill Rees and Jessica Buck. The film tracks the agent’s movements, the changing terms of each delivery and the growing enigma surrounding the documents, with action propelled by negotiations, evasions and confrontations rather than exposition. The narrative closes on the continuing circuit of deliveries across the Midwest.
