Beautiful Pain

Description

A single mother is fighting a contentious divorce while trying to secure financial independence through a sudden opportunity in the film industry. The plot follows her decision to accept that work, how she uses the income and emerging visibility to try to break free from economic dependence, and how that choice triggers confrontations with unsafe and exploitative practices inside production and employment structures. The entry-level breakthrough and the divorce proceed in parallel, creating repeated conflicts between on-set obligations and legal wrangling. She documents incidents, negotiates contracts and schedules, and faces a custody campaign initiated by her former spouse that seeks to use her new professional status against her; the story shows specific actions and legal maneuvering without resolving them. Released in 2026, the film features Berlliana Lovell and Anastasia Herzigova. The cast also includes Raihaanun and Baim Wong.
