Overman

Description

A fading superhero wants to rebuild his career by taking a post at the government's Department of Public Security, but his damaged public image and ingrained, sexist behavior block his path back to relevance. Assigned to work with Pâmela, a loyal partner whose profile is rising, he must adapt to bureaucratic procedures, media scrutiny and internal resistance while trying to preserve whatever influence he still has. The film is a 2026 comedy that stages workplace confrontations, investigations and personal reckonings rather than relying on spectacle. Their inquiries expose a network of corruption tied to the governor and pull an old adversary back into view; the team pursues leads, negotiates with reluctant witnesses and contends with political cover-ups. The cast includes Caco Ciocler, Raphael Logam, Otávio Müller and Marina Provenzzano. The story ends with evidence in hand, alliances frayed and the protagonists poised to stop a looming collapse of the city's institutions, leaving the final showdown unresolved.
