The Incomer

Description

Siblings Isla and Sandy rely on hunting seabirds and sharing ancestral stories to survive on their Orkney isle. Their routine is disrupted when an awkward council worker arrives with plans to uproot them from their homeland. The siblings must confront the imminent threat posed by this newcomer, who represents the dreaded "Incomers" that they have long defended against. As Isla and Sandy deal with the council worker's intentions, they find themselves entangled in a series of comedic misunderstandings and conflicts. Tensions rise as the siblings attempt to protect their way of life while the council worker's efforts to implement change create chaos on the isle. The cast includes Paddy Kondracki, Gayle Rankin, Domhnall Gleeson, and Grant O'Rourke. As events unfold, the siblings must find a way to assert their identity while facing the challenges posed by the outsider’s presence.
