Description

Fujiko faces severe mistreatment from her husband Jiro's family, which intensifies when their daughter Mari is kidnapped by Jiro's relatives. Determined to reclaim her child, Fujiko seeks assistance from her mother, Chiyo, and successfully retrieves Mari. However, societal pressure and the disapproval of those around her challenge her resolve as she decides to raise Mari alone as a single mother.
