International Mountain Film Festival Supports Fundraiser for Nepal Flood Victims

The International Mountain Film Festival (MHFF) has initiated a fundraising effort aimed at assisting victims of recent flash floods in Nepal. The festival is encouraging attendees and supporters to contribute to the SOS Nepal campaign, organized by the non-profit group People in Need.

The devastating floods have caused significant damage across various regions, impacting homes, roads, bridges, and essential infrastructure. This destruction has left some communities isolated and in urgent need of assistance.

People in Need has been operational in Nepal since the 2015 earthquake and has quickly mobilized its resources to provide support following this latest disaster. The organization aims to ensure that aid reaches those who are most affected by the flooding.
