Analyzing Daylen Everette’s Preseason Journey with the Steelers

As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for the upcoming NFL season, rookie cornerback Daylen Everette's contributions have garnered limited attention despite his status as a third-round draft pick. Selected 86th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, the former Georgia standout has been somewhat overshadowed by his peers, raising questions about his role on the team moving forward.

Everette's performance during the preseason has been a mix of promise and challenges. Coaches and analysts have observed his ability to adapt to the professional level, but inconsistencies have also surfaced. Notably, his tackling technique and coverage skills have been under scrutiny, as he works to refine his game in a highly competitive environment.

As the team seeks to bolster its defense, how well the rookie can integrate into the lineup may significantly impact Pittsburgh's overall performance. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely as the regular season approaches, hoping to see Everette's potential translate into effective play on the field.
