Yo (Love is a Rebellious Bird)

Description

Anna, after the death of her friend Yo, constructs a 1/3-scale replica of Yo's house. This model is designed to accommodate Anna's size, allowing her to enter and interact with a puppet that represents Yo. The film documents Anna's process of building the house and her relationship with the puppet, reflecting on the age difference between them—Yo was 73 and Anna 24 when they first met. Alongside Anna's construction project, the film also features footage of Yo's life, providing insight into her character and the bond they shared. The narrative contrasts Anna's creative efforts with the memories of Yo, illustrating the impact of their friendship. The cast includes Yolanda Shea.
