Description

Following the death of his father, Jay Gardiner seeks closure by diving off the central Coast of California to find his remains. However, his search takes a dangerous turn when he is swallowed by a massive sperm whale. With only one hour of oxygen left and the pressure of his father's lessons weighing on him, Jay must confront the skills and knowledge imparted by his father to devise a way to escape the whale's belly. As time runs out, Jay faces the reality of his situation and the challenges of survival. He reflects on the lessons he learned, which may hold the key to his freedom. Meanwhile, the search for Jay intensifies above the water, leaving his fate uncertain. The cast includes John Ortiz, Emily Rudd, Austin Abrams, and Josh Brolin.
