The Last Woman on Earth

Description

Gu Hana, a blue-haired woman, faces a challenge in her liberal film art class when her screenplay, filled with animosity towards men, receives little constructive criticism. The only person to confront her is Song Cheol, an aspiring director who believes his own screenplay was overlooked due to a lack of “extra points from woman’s film.” He proposes an unlikely collaboration, suggesting that they team up to improve their chances in the competitive industry. As their partnership develops, they confront their differing perspectives on gender and creativity. The film examines their interactions and the impact of their collaboration on their artistic ambitions and personal beliefs. The cast includes Anupam Tripathi, Yeum Moon-kyoung, Lee Jong-min, and Yoon Sang-hwa. The story unfolds within the context of a film class, providing a setting that reflects the tension between traditional filmmaking expectations and contemporary social discourse.
