The Airport Chaplain

Description

The story takes place in a bustling international airport, where passengers and workers confront various personal challenges. Tobias Wallace, wearing a hi-vis “Chaplain”-printed vest, assists those in need, including Asha, a young woman hiding in the prayer room. As he helps others, Tobias also confronts his own buried traumas. However, his unorthodox methods draw the ire of Mira, the new terminal manager, who views Tobias as a liability and considers him for redundancy. As the airport faces multiple crises—overworked baggage handlers, security issues, and family separations—Tobias's presence becomes increasingly vital. The film features a cast that includes Erroll Shand, Shabana Azeez, Hugo Weaving, and Arka Das. "The Airport Chaplain" was released in 2026, and it unfolds in the complex environment of an airport, highlighting the intertwining lives of those who pass through its terminals.
