Telúrica, a Íntima Utopia

Description

Elisa Band and her colleagues in the Ueinzz theater company in São Paulo aim to create a play addressing the extinction of the Earth and the human desire to endure. Composed of actors living with psychological distress, the group engages in rehearsals where they express dreams, words, and identities, treating these elements as fragile species that require preservation. As the performance unfolds, the cast, which includes Jayme Menezes and Valéria Manzalli, reflects on themes of survival and belonging, while also contemplating the vitality of their own community. The documentary captures their creative process and the challenges they face, emphasizing the importance of their shared experiences in a world that often marginalizes their voices.
