Sparks

Description

The film takes place in Sparks, Nevada, where an urban legend suggests that a nearby reservoir serves as a time portal. This idea captivates a group of teenage friends known as the Crop, who lead aimless lives filled with youthful enthusiasm. Their routine is disrupted when Cleo arrives in town, intent on traveling back to 1960s Paris, spurring the group into a series of adventures that test their friendships and beliefs. "Sparks," released in 2026, features a cast that includes Elsie Fisher and Madison Hu. The narrative blends elements of humor with moments of darkness, as the characters confront their aspirations and the reality of their lives. The pacing keeps the story moving quickly, balancing lighthearted interactions with deeper reflections on their choices and futures.
