Somewhere After

Description

"Somewhere After" is a documentary that revisits the experiences of seven Australians who, in 2020, shared their personal hopes, dreams, and fears while choosing landscapes that represented their feelings of isolation. Three years later, the film presents them listening back to their reflections with a blend of vulnerability and humor. This approach allows for an intimate examination of how they have processed their past emotions and the impact of those formative moments on their current lives. As the characters confront the universal question of whether difficult times can lead to personal growth, they are left with unresolved feelings about their journeys. The cast includes Georgia Durmush, Ian Leong, Dave Gibson, and Milan Malesevic, each contributing to the exploration of their individual and shared experiences. The film concludes without providing a clear resolution, leaving the audience to ponder the ongoing challenges they face.
