Description

Prosecutor Kim Seokgyu is nominated for Minister of Justice, but his past comes under scrutiny when the opposition questions his involvement in the 1994 "Migeum Arson-Murder Case." Allegations arise that he conducted a coercive investigation against the illiterate suspect Hong Sunhwa, who was sentenced to death. The situation shifts when a letter from Sunhwa emerges, prompting Seokgyu to reconsider the case. He begins to reinvestigate the matter, seeking to uncover the truths he missed in his pursuit of justice solely through legal documents. As Seokgyu delves deeper, he confronts the personal ramifications of his earlier actions and the voices of those affected by the case. The film raises questions about accountability and the nature of justice. The cast includes Park Ji-hyun, Jung Sung-il, and Lee Jun-young.
