Shadows of Beirut

Description

A young woman arrives in Beirut, carrying the weight of 25 years of estrangement from her dying father. She confronts the reality of their fractured relationship as she visits familiar streets and meets various locals who help her reconnect with her homeland. The journey is marked by her struggle to forgive him and the emotional turmoil of facing unresolved issues from her past. As she interacts with different people, she uncovers stories that reflect the essence of Beirut. Each encounter prompts her to reflect on her identity and the legacy of her family. Ultimately, she is left standing at a crossroads, torn between a desire for reconciliation and the pain of her father's actions, uncertain about how to proceed in their fragile relationship.
