Description

Satoko faces the challenges of her life at three distinct ages, each marked by pivotal events that inspire her to write. As a 15-year-old junior high student, she begins crafting a story influenced by her feelings for her classmate Hayase after a chance meeting at an ENT clinic. At 35, after a violent incident involving her married lover's wife, she finds herself hospitalized and turns to storytelling as a means of expression. By the age of 55, Satoko reflects on her past while preparing lunchboxes for her three sons, reigniting her childhood aspiration of becoming a writer. The film features a cast that includes Tomo Nakai and Joe Odagiri, showcasing Satoko's life across three decades. Each segment reveals her growth and the evolving nature of her relationships and ambitions.
