Description

Romero, a 23-year-old Indigenous man, flees gang extortion in his rural town and migrates to Guatemala City. There, he secures a job as a security guard at a commercial center, where he falls in love with a trans woman who operates a local business. Their relationship faces immediate challenges due to the prejudice and hostility from his coworkers. As Romero and his partner attempt to create a safe emotional space together, their bond is increasingly threatened by external social pressures. The film, which stars Lola Vásquez and Jozef Coxaj, culminates in a situation where their love is put to the test, leaving them to confront the societal obstacles that loom over their lives.
