Description

Mia, a 12-year-old girl, faces challenges when she is sent to the enigmatic Rotwood Academy due to her behavioral issues at school. Unlike typical stories, "Monster Mia" centers on a human in a monster-filled environment, as Mia tries to fit in among her new classmates while hiding her true identity. Accompanied by her scruffy pet rat, Quentin, she quickly realizes that the academy's atmosphere is unsettling, and the vice principal, Van Vlad, harbors a strong aversion to humans. As Mia deals with the difficulties of blending into a world of monsters, she must remain vigilant to avoid being discovered. The tension heightens as she fears that her facade might unravel, particularly under the watchful eye of Van Vlad. With the stakes rising, Mia’s situation becomes increasingly precarious, leaving her to confront the challenges that lie ahead without a clear way out.
