mentor

Description

Fifteen years after a fireworks accident caused by two boys resulted in the death of a family and severe injuries to a resident named Nomoto, the lives of those involved intersect once again. Ryunosuke attempts to lead a "normal" life while dealing with the guilt of his past actions, while Takumi remains emotionally ensnared by the event that changed everything. When Nomoto unexpectedly reappears, his reaction is not one of vengeance but rather an unsettling kindness that affects both boys differently. In the film "Mentor," the tension between these three individuals escalates as they confront their shared history. Ryunosuke is disturbed by Nomoto's behavior, which starkly contrasts with Takumi's fragile sense of salvation that begins to emerge. As their paths cross once more, the ramifications of their past actions unfold in unpredictable ways, leaving each character facing a future irrevocably altered by their reunion. The cast includes Hayato Isomura, Seiya Suezawa, and Go Ayano.
