Mann-Pishach

Description

Hadamgaon is an isolated village that conceals dark secrets beneath its surface. In June 1990, a junior archaeologist arrives to study a mysterious stone dome unearthed by a landslide. As he interacts with the locals, including a young widow, he notices the village's peculiar customs, such as sealed homes and a strict rule to stay indoors after dark. These observations lead him to a buried structure, suggesting that what lies beneath the village's surface is meant not for worship but to contain the sinister aspects of human nature. As the archaeologist delves deeper into the village's history, he encounters increasingly unsettling occurrences that challenge his understanding of reality. The tight-knit community's reluctance to discuss the past heightens the tension, revealing a history that refuses to remain buried. The cast includes Yaaneea Bhardwaj and Deepak Damle, who contribute to the film's escalating sense of dread as the protagonist uncovers the chilling truths hidden within Hadamgaon.
