Lo Scuru

Description

A young man finds himself in Sicily, surrounded by local superstitions that linger in the shadows of everyday life. As he confronts his past, he begins to question the validity of his schizophrenia diagnosis, believing that his pain and nightmares may be linked to deeper, more mystical forces at play. The cast includes Fabrizio Falco and Simona Malato, who contribute to the film's examination of reality versus perception. As he seeks answers, he encounters various locals who share stories of spirits and curses that haunt their community. Tensions rise as he becomes increasingly drawn into their beliefs, leading him to confront not only his own mental state but also the fears that grip those around him. In a pivotal moment, he faces a significant choice that could alter his understanding of both his condition and the supernatural elements surrounding him.
