Легенда без номера

Description

The story takes place in contemporary Russia, where Ivan, a former football star, finds himself in a downward spiral after losing his job as a host of a dull football show. Following a public argument with his ex-teammate Maks, a renowned lapta coach, Ivan bets he can become a better coach than Maks. To reclaim his reputation, he assembles a mismatched team consisting of a neurotic, a boring pensioner, a gamer, a weightlifter, and a notorious hooligan. As Ivan attempts to train this motley crew, he faces challenges that highlight their lack of skill and cohesion. The film blends comedic elements with the absurdity of Ivan's situation and his struggle to lead this unconventional team to success. With a cast that includes Stepan Devonin and Svetlana Listova, "Легенда без номера" moves at a brisk pace, balancing humor with the darker aspects of Ivan's fall from grace.
