Description

A dusty stage in a rundown theater serves as the setting for a peculiar partnership between artist Antoine and sideshow performer Suzanne. Antoine struggles with alcoholism and a lack of inspiration following the death of his wife, Irène, which he feels responsible for. In a desperate attempt to reconnect with her, he turns to Suzanne, who pretends to be a clairvoyant. As Antoine’s dealer Armand pushes Suzanne to maintain the act, she orchestrates a series of makeshift hypnosis sessions to channel Irène, all while accumulating debt that weighs heavily on her. As the charade unfolds, the lines between reality and illusion blur, complicating their lives further. Antoine's journey to recover his artistic voice intertwines with Suzanne's fight for survival, leading both to confront their pasts. Meanwhile, Armand becomes increasingly entangled in their deception, revealing the lengths to which he will go to protect Antoine from self-destruction. The cast includes Gilles Lellouche, Pio Marmaï, Anaïs Demoustier, and Vimala Pons.
