Kata Hati

Description

A red carpet disaster leads celebrity actress Ayra Natasha into the back seat of a stranger's car, where she ugly-cries into a box of tissues. Imran Firdaus, an e-hailing driver with no particular plans, reluctantly takes on the role of Ayra's personal driver to help her manage the fallout from a cheating boyfriend and a viral disappearance. As they spend time together, their forced arrangement evolves into a meaningful connection that challenges the carefully constructed world Ayra inhabits, filled with sponsors and film contracts. While Ayra's sister and manager, Maya, struggles to maintain the power couple narrative surrounding Ayra, Imran becomes a stabilizing force in her life. The film also highlights moments of vulnerability and honesty shared between them, contrasting the public persona Ayra must uphold with the private sentiments she begins to express. The cast includes Norreen Iman, Fabian Loo, Scha Al-Yahya, and Nia Atasha.
