Description

Ten-year-old Tom struggles to connect with those around him after the death of his father. Isolated in his grief, he turns to the everyday objects in his home for comfort, discovering that items like pop can lids and suitcases can communicate with him. These objects reveal their true faces, guiding Tom as he attempts to process his emotions and heal. As Tom interacts with the objects, he begins to find solace and understanding in their perspectives. His journey unfolds alongside his family, including his mother, who faces her own challenges in the wake of loss. The film, featuring a cast that includes Karl Urban and Anna Faris, leaves Tom in a fragile state, caught between the world of his newfound friends and the reality of his life, uncertain of how to reconcile the two.
