Heaven Above Rowen

Description

Rowen, a religious leader, seeks to reaffirm his faith and identity as a prophesied revelation approaches. The mounting pressures from his followers and internal doubts lead him to question the very foundation of his beliefs. As Rowen's mental state deteriorates, he confronts the challenges of maintaining his authority while dealing with the implications of his faith. Alongside Rowen's turmoil, the film also follows the experiences of those close to him, including friends and followers who are affected by his unraveling. Their struggles with their own beliefs and the impact of Rowen’s crisis create a parallel narrative that examines faith, loyalty, and the search for truth. The cast includes Alice Voena, John Cameron Mitchell, and Olivia Humulock.
