Description

The film takes place in contemporary Iran and follows Bahar, an acclaimed director who casts male actors to wear women's outfits for her new project. The actors, motivated by aspirations for international recognition and the possibility of gaining visas, agree to the unconventional demands. As they don skirts and headscarves, the physical discomfort in the heat becomes evident, along with the emotional toll on their pride as they grapple with societal expectations. As the production progresses, the actors confront the realities of their situation, facing challenges that threaten their professional ambitions and personal identities. The cast includes Mehrnoosh Sattari, Saeed Naderi, Ebrahim Azizi, and Lily Farhadpour. The film leaves the characters at a crossroads, with their dreams and dignity hanging in the balance.
