Frau ohne Namen

Description

The story takes place in a contemporary city where Dr. Marlene Nielsen, a psychologist specializing in microexpression, is called to assist with a case involving a woman who has fatally wounded an attacker in what is claimed to be a self-defence situation. The woman, however, refuses to speak, prompting Marlene to suspect that the truth of the incident is more complex than it appears. While colleagues dismiss her concerns, she begins her own investigation into the woman's past, uncovering connections to an unpunished crime that may shed light on the current circumstances. As Marlene delves deeper, she encounters various obstacles, including resistance from law enforcement and the intricacies of the legal system. Her determination to uncover the woman's identity and motivations leads her to confront unsettling truths, challenging her professional beliefs and personal convictions. The film, a thriller released in 2026, builds tension as Marlene races against time to piece together the puzzle before the case is closed for good.
