Four Minus Three

Description

A bright red nose and oversized shoes are all that remain of Barbara's life as a professional clown. Living with her partner Heli and their two children in a world filled with laughter, she faces an unfathomable tragedy when a car accident claims the lives of her family. Now, Barbara must confront her profound loss alone, as the laughter that once defined her existence fades into silence. The film follows Barbara's struggle to reclaim her sense of humor and hope amidst the darkness. With a cast that includes Valerie Pachner and Robert Stadlober, the narrative examines how she attempts to find a way back to life while confronting the shadows of her past. As she reflects on her memories and the joy once shared, the story oscillates between moments of lightness and the stark reality of grief. The film moves with a pace that is both fast and contemplative, balancing dark themes with the potential for laughter.
