Description

Adela, a Mexican sound artist, embarks on a journey from the jungle to the Peruvian Andes with Lucho, who acts as her guide and translator. She aims to create a sound map of endangered languages, inspired by the legacy of her grandfather, a Republican exiled in Mexico. As she collects sounds and stories, the journey takes a turn when she confronts her own fears and memories, leading to a fracturing of her reality. The film also addresses the impact of loss and uprooting, focusing on how these elements shape identity.
