Dust
Description
A man wanders around the Comb of the Wind, encountering a variety of individuals and scenes that characterize the landscape. He observes an old Basque farmhouse, a silent man, and women engaged in everyday activities, such as drinking water and smoking. Punks gather in a rock bar, while others inhabit the ancient city as the sun sets. These moments reflect the everyday lives surrounding him and hint at larger existential questions. The film includes Lee Kang-sheng and Anong Houngheuangsy among its cast, presenting a narrative that intertwines documentary elements with dramatic storytelling. As he moves through these encounters, the man's experiences echo the philosophical insights from the Diamond Sutra, which considers the nature of existence. The narrative unfolds in a setting where the sea rises and breaks against the shore, emphasizing the intersection of humanity and nature.
