Dear Juhee

Description

Jang Juhee faces the challenge of rebuilding her life after recovering from leukemia while working at a center for independent living for people with disabilities. She encounters Seon Cheol-gyu, who is bedridden, Jeon In-suk, who has lost a family member in the Sewol ferry tragedy, and Bu Seong-pil, a documentary director. Each individual carries their own scars, shaped by trauma and loss, which influence their interactions and perspectives. As Juhee shares her experiences and listens to their stories, her understanding of her own life expands, revealing the impact of childhood memories marked by domestic violence and the isolation brought on by her illness. The film culminates in a moment of shared vulnerability, leaving the characters contemplating their uncertain futures and the connections they have forged amid their struggles.
