Collision Course
Description
A bank robbery culminates in a crash that forces members of the crew to confront betrayals and lies that predate the operation. The film opens with the mechanics of a heist: a plan executed at speed, a clean break from the bank and then the unexpected stoppage of the getaway. That collision is the inciting incident and the narrative pivot; what follows is not a pursuit in the conventional sense but the unraveling of decisions and relationships that the theft had briefly concealed. The story is located in Spain and the sequence of events traces how the immediate crisis—the wreck and its consequences—pulls loose private histories. Each thief’s actions after the crash expose information that had been kept from the others, and the plot records how those deceptions affect trust within the group. The structure keeps the robbery and its aftermath in direct relation so the cause-and-effect remains clear. Rather than resolving the robbery through courtroom scenes or police procedural detail, the film concentrates on the fallout among the participants. Confessions, accusations, and rearranged alliances emerge as the crew deals with the same crisis from different angles. The focus is on what the crash reveals about the individuals involved and on how prior betrayals change the meaning of the heist itself. The narrative approach is economical: a single event—robbery, crash—triggers layered confrontations that the camera and editing present in close succession. Plot progression moves from the moment of impact to the progressively disclosed backstory; the film makes visible the point at which a planned crime becomes a catalyst for unmasking history rather than merely an action sequence. The original title is Colisión and the film was released in 2026. The cast includes Luis Zahera and Laia Costa. The rest of the cast includes Lluís Homar and Karra Elejalde.
