This documentary presents an unconventional narrative by following two individuals, Christine and Jean, as they confront their traumatic pasts through a road trip across the French countryside. Christine, whose father died when she was a child, seeks closure regarding a farewell letter she believes her abusive mother has hidden. Jean, dealing with the aftermath of his father's suicide, struggles with the lengthy letter left behind, which he has never mustered the courage to read. Together, they aim to confront their histories and the emotional burdens they carry. The film unfolds as they journey to visit Christine's mother, intertwining their stories of loss and the search for understanding.
